Shipping times vary based on the item. Some products are ready to ship, while others are made to measure. Please refer to the shipping details listed on each product page for the most accurate estimate.

  • Ready-to-ship items are typically dispatched within 1–2 business days. FedEx Express delivers within 3 business days in the U.S.
  • Made-to-measure items will take 7 business days to ship and 5-7 days to deliver according to your destination.

If your order includes multiple items with different timelines, we’ll ship everything together once all pieces are ready.

Each lehenga is hand dyed by our artisans in India to give it a unique handloom look so you may be seeing slight color variations due to these fabric dying processes.

Given that we work to fulfill orders ASAP, all orders must be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase (including pre-order). Please ensure you’re confident in your purchase before submitting your order! 

If requested prior to order processing, we may be able to add items or modify the size of ordered items. Please shoot us an email for order modifications here.

If your order is deemed lost, we will issue a re-shipment.

Kindly note that Desi Is Me is not responsible for packages scanned delivered that can’t be located. Porch Piracy has increased as of recent and we recommend tracking your package closely and checking with house members &/or neighbors post delivery.

To start a return or exchange, please submit a request via your Desi Is Me account or email us at customer_service@desiisme.com to get started.

Requests must be submitted within 5 business days of receiving your order. Once approved, items must be shipped back within 7 business days.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags.
  • Customized pieces, sale items, and jewelry are final sale and not eligible for return.
  • Please contact us if you believe your product is damaged or faulty. We will treat this with the highest priority.

EXCHANGES

  • Exchanges are processed once your return has been received and approved.
  • If we do not receive the item within 7 business days of approval, a refund will be issued.

REFUNDS

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility; we do not provide prepaid labels.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 business days of receiving your return.
  • Original shipping fees, duties, taxes, and VAT are non-refundable.
  • We charge a 10% restocking fee on all refunds to help cover the time, care, and resources involved in processing returns — from quality checks and repackaging to absorbing the cost of free shipping. This allows us to keep our pricing fair, reduce waste, and continue offering personalized service to every customer!
